چکیده

Background: Handgrip muscle strength test describes the of hand muscles used to grasp or grip. Currently, grip evaluation is often in clinical practice, as a marker function and disability. In fact, it has already been applied an outcome measure arthritis rheumatoid trials, demonstrate benefits several treatments [1]. However, disability should also be considered all other rheumatological diseases. Objectives: The main aim this study assess handgrip cohort patients compared control group. Methods: This cross-sectional pilot study. We eligible 35 consecutive female followed at our outpatients’ clinic Internal Medicine (I Policlinico Naples) healthy females (HC). Both groups included only right-handed individuals. Rheumatological were distributed follows: 5 (14,3%), 9 psoriatic (25,7%), 4 systemic lupus erythematosus (11,4%), 10 sclerosis (28,6%), fibromyalgia 3 juvenile idiopathic (8,6%). course disease was under optimal treatment patients. type power grip, which object held firmly by wrapping fingers around it, pressing against palm, using thumb apply counter-pressure. either right left valid mean three tests per arm. Conclusion: diseases are burdened disability, mostly affecting daily activities performance [2,3]. Norms for hand grip strength.

Norms for hand grip strength of healthy children are presented. Sex and age specific centiles for age 5 to 18 years have been determined using a portable strain gauge dynamometer with an accuracy of 0.5 N. The test group comprised 1417 healthy, urban school children from a middle class suburb of Brisbane. Mean maximum grip strength (of four tests, two with each hand) and mean peak grip strength...

Development of an integrated digital hand grip dynamometer and norm of hand grip strength.

This study designs and fabricates a novel integrated digital hand grip dynamometer and analyzes collected grip strength data. The dynamometer directly stores collected data in a computer, unlike those on the market that cannot directly store information. A strain gauge load cell is used as a force sensor. The dynamometer is designed to maximize ergonomics. Excitation voltage of the load cell is...

hand grip strength in pregnant and non-pregnant females

conclusions the current study revealed that pregnant females had significantly lower hgs compared with non-pregnant ones. high parity and gravidity and later stage of pregnancy led to significantly lower hgs. higher level of adiposity led to poorer performance of hgs in females. it is recommended to evaluate hgs in antenatal care, which may have diagnostic and prognostic benefits. background ha...
